Yes, The Seventh Day of Passover and G-d split it, not Moses.

G-d willed moses to split the sea. G-d split it through moses?
Muslims fasted last thursday and friday, because they said this was the time in which the miracle occured and it is said that the Jews used to fast it, so Muhammad ordered the muslims to fast it plus another day either before or after. So it is at a different time of year completely?
Is it suggested that one should fast on their birthday in Judaism?

It's Arbor day.
--- End quote ---
No it's not. That's what Leftists want to make it into. It's really just The New Year For Trees to determine the age of the tree for purposes of tithing the fruit and other agricultural laws involving trees in The Land of Israel.

Umm, isn't that the same thing as Arbor day? But instead of calling it Arbor day like "leftists" do, you call it the New Year for Trees

You need to get out of that Nazi cult. It's diluting your thinking.

I think its because the calendars are completely different, thats why the days are so apart.
Tzvi Ben Roshel1:
Whats arbor day? (what does arbor mean?)
Sarah- yes the calenders are somewhat different. Muslims go by the moon. Christians go by the sun. Jews in a way use both systems, we go by the moon for the months, BUT every couple of years (the system was allready set in advance from the time of Hillel), their is a leap year, where a month is added, because G-d commanded that Passover should be in the spring.
