Sarah:

Did it ever occur to you that maybe the "Islam" that you're being taught is not the real thing? Maybe at such a young age, they don't want you to know what Islam is really all about, because it might turn you off?

I don't study Islam, but often times, we can see what the religion is by the actions of it's practitioners. We don't see any Amish people hijacking planes.

The fact is that no Muslim country tolerates non-Muslims (perhaps with the exception of Turkey). For centuries, Jews have lived under Muslim rule under "Dhemi" status, which essentially equates them with dogs. This, according to Muslims, was considered a protected class. You gotta wonder how the unprotected class lived.

Why is it that Americans, who risked and gave their lives in 1991 to protect the "moderate" Muslim country of Saudi Arabia were not allowed to display their religion (thus enabling a proper memorial in the event of their death) while in Saudi Arabia? Why were female soldiers not allowed to leavetheir bases?

A man in Pakistan was accused of having sex with his consenting adult girlfriend. The sentence? The Muslim court ruled that since he shamed the girl's family by defiling their sister/daughter, he would be forced to watch as they (his girlfriend's family) gang raped his sister.

I watched a video recently (it was all over the web) of a young boy (he must have been 5 of 6) having a truck drive over his arm (while an adult held him down), because he was convicted of stealing. This was not some renegade impostor of Islam, it was a sentence carried out by a Muslim court in Iran.

When Arafag signed a deal with Israel (in 9/93) he referred to a concept in Islamic law known as a "hudna," which allows one to enter a peace treaty with the enemy only if the intent is to weaken the enemy, and then break the "hudna" when the enemy is weak. This carries a maximum allowance of seven years. Hence, in 10/2000, Arafag launched what became known as the Oslo War.

Never mind what we think of Arafag, but tell us about your knowledge of a "hudna."

On second thought, what do most Muslims think of Arafag? Judging by the turn out at his funeral, I would say many Muslims see this waste of human tissue as a hero.

There are a million more instances where the leaders of Islam clearly confirm for us what Islam is. While you call them impostors, they have the backing and support of the Muslim population, by and large.

How many Muslims raced to their Mosques to pray for the victims, after 9/11? Now, you might claim that you and many others did. But there were no press releases, no attempt to publicly show any solitude, or solidarity. On the other hand, we saw thousands of Muslims dancing in the streets all over the world on 9/11/01. (By 9/12, the network executives made sure the footage was no longer aired, but it was too late. The world had already seen it.)

When the two Israelis were beaten to death in an Arab police station, and their bodies were dropped out of the window for the mob to trample on, did your Imam give a speech at your mosque, clarifying that this is a disgrace to Islam?

When mobs rampaged all over Europe, because they were insulted by the Pope, did anyone in your Mosque declare that as a peaceful religion, it is wrong and un-Muslim to use violence against Christians, just because their leader uttered an insult?

One last question, Sarah. Please do me, yourself, and everyone else in this forum a favor. Research the fame of Salah-A-Din. What was so special about him, and what makes him revered in Islam?

Very good post.  I enjoyed reading it.  Too, one can note that the recent History (well since the Turkish; Young Turks/Communists) took power in Turkey there has been a wide reform.  I believe the man responsible was a Marxist named Attaturk but not sure.  Too, the Dhimmi faired well in Turkey relative to the Kurds.......  Now that is a story of "The Religion of Peace"...  Perhaps the reason why Turkey is not like the others might be a combination of Socialism and being non-Arab?  I don't know but I do think it may well have to do with Socialism...  Perhaps I'm wrong...    This poises me to ask a question: If the Arabs say Jews stole their land, when was it their land?  The Ottomans, who are Turks and not Arabs held the land for...what....500 years....so when exactly was it Arab?  Did not the Brits have the land after the Turks?  Ok...I'm lost...

Indeed. The Arab claim to "Palestine" is as legitimate as my claim to Disney Land. The last time they controlled it was in the 7th century, when they took it by conquest. I wonder if the irony is lost on them, that they now wave about UN Resolution 242, saying it is unacceptable to take land by conquest.

But none of that matters. Their main argument has always been, "it's mine 'cause otherwise I'll kill ya." Only after they lost the Six Day War did they decide to invent the"Palestinian," and cry before the world. Then their argument became "It's mine (the Arab), because the international community agrees with me, and you (the Jew) are stupid enough to jump at their command.

Since 9/93, the Arabs have the most legitimate claim yet (provided to them by the Jews themselves): "It's mine, because you (the Jew) refuse to fight for it, and you acknowledged my legitimate claims, by signing the treaty on the White House Lawn."

You are very correct.  Sad to say...this is the case.  The Jews should have thrown out the Balestinians when Jordan became a nation in 1922.  I believe it was a combination of the infection that has rotted the early Ashkenazi brains: Communism.  They were, from my understanding, to arrogant to listen to their Sephardit brethren about Islam and Muslims in that they truly felt that they could live together in "peace" or control the stupid Arab masses.....  Then again, the only racist programs in Israel from my understanding were enacted by the BenGurion, Sharret and Meir during the early days agaisnt Sephardit Jews and not the Arabs to undermine the Irgun and Stern group via shutting out the Sephardit from Jobs/employment...  I could be wrong but I think it goes something like that...  Socialism...    Sad.  Should most deffinately had been dealt with in 1967.  Today we'd have had ALL the land plus the Sinai with its Oil, shipping lanes and too use of the Suez Cannal had the Jews been strong and not caved in...  Abba Eban, Henry Kissenger etc.  sad...sad...

Their main argument is that all the world's lands belong to Allah, whose religion must reign supreme.  Even if they don't yet possess those lands, they are entitled to them by divine decree, and it is incumbent upon them to liberate them from the hands of the kuffar.  Killing infidels is just the means, only one aspect of jihad.  Other forms that jihad takes are demography (outbreeding the infidels), taqiya/tuquq/qitman (deceiving the infidels about the true intentions of Islam) and da'wa (peaceful conversion using traditional Christian missionary techniques).

Exactly Dav.  Agreed.  Perhaps you'd like to present such logic and knowledge to your former President now traveling the World to unite their leaders in pressuring Israel to give OUR land to the Balestinians.  Afterall, he has to promote his new communist propaganda rag furthering the fabrication of the Balistinian Beoble...  or was it the Philistinian Beoble?
