NEW DELHI: Apprehensive of yet another bout of angry Muslim protests, the government has said a polite 'no' to French president Nicolas Sarkozy's proposal to confer the prestigious Simone de Beauvoir award on exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen during his visit here.
