A member of the set of positive whole numbers {1, 2, 3, . . . }, negative whole numbers {-1, -2, -3, . . . }, and zero {0}.

This includes all whole numbers not any fractions or decimals unless those Fractions equal a whole number such as 1 over 1 equal One. or a decimal is a whole number such as 1.0.

Fractions such as 1 over 2 is not an Integer. and a decimal such as 1.1 is not.

i see ok, thanks.

But it doesn't answer this im afraid :

Flash Quirk: ExternalInterface IE "Expected ;" Bug
This information applies to Flash Player 8,5,0,246 and may also apply to other versions.

If you use an integer for the id of your swf object element, ExternalInterface.call will fail and IE will report a script error:

Expected: ';'

The solution is to not use integers for element ids.

It is a bug in a computer program. Practically speaking, the only person that can fix it is the person that wrote the program. Not you.

Try viewing the flash in another browser.

http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/firefox/
http://www.opera.com/

I use opera, firefox and internet explorer. Though with opera  i tend not to install addons. With IE , not many addons. With firefox, many addons!

If you really wanted to know what it means, I suggest you learn programming..  And if you are the type that can program, then you would easily understand those kind of messages and routinely fix those kinds of errors in your programs. But you do not have the code, so you still can`t.

I have never used flash. Maybe the SWF file your browser downloads is source code being interpreted (like qbasic was!), but I really doubt it. Maybe it is possible to reverse engineer it (e.g. a decompiler program may do it automatically).

Anyhow. A bug is a bug.
End users that have never programmed, do not worry about it. And neither do programmers if they do not have the source code.

See, I do the code for flas and everything. I then run a check to make sure everything is fine in the code-it passes. But then, when i preview the flash file in my browser, the links don't work?!

Im telling you, im going off my head with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Mayby it works, but just not on my pc?
Since you are a pc genius q_q, mayby i can send you the file, and then you can just preview it in your browser?
