No surprise it was a gun free zone, I used to live in Illinois and they have some of the most strict gun laws in the country. I also have a friend who attends northern illinois university, shes ok though.

That is good news about your friend...and Yes Universities are hotbeds for firearms violence.....What is the solution.....Armed Security in each building?

Illinois requires gun licenses to own a gun (FOID card)

They also are one of the only states (along with Wisconsin) that does NOT allow a individual to carry a gun openly or concealed under any circumstances

Chicago bans the possession of handguns

My friend is a good friend of mine from middle school, she is just updating me with the situation, looks like this scumbag committed suicide before anyone could get to him, they all do.

 I wonder where these ideas of mass killings and suicide come from...  ???
