Israeli Companies Flying High At Singapore Air Show
(IsraelNN.com) Eight Israeli companies are participating in the 2008 Singapore Air Show, which is on through February 24. The companies include Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Rada Electronic Industries, Orbit Alchut Technologies, and Bental Motion Systems. Israel, which is one of the world's top five defense exporters, is joining 42 other countries and over 900 displays in an exhibit which is expected to draw 80,000 visitors.
The Israeli participants will display unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) utilized in combat conditions, helicopters, hybrid UAV engines, and avionics systems for combat jets.
Israel is a major contributor to defense technology, particularly in the areas of UAVs and command and control systems.
