The interim-president Coskun Beyazgül pleads for a separate representation of turks and moroccans.
Beyazgül made these statements, Friday evening, after the moslem Executive didn't elect him as new president of the muzz-executive.

We as Turkish Moslems no longer tolerate the scuttling attempts of the Moroccan community.

The moroccan moslems in the Executive have blocked the affair permanently.
We have called all of our supporters to vote in the elections of 2005.
We wanted that the body worked and have done our extreme best. It does not succeed, and for this reason we plead now for a separate representation of turkish and moroccan moslems. He states also that the Islam in Turkey is differently lived than in Morocco or elsewhere in the Arab world. One representing body cannot cope which such diversity.
Imagine that Anglicans, Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox... would also have but one body... That would work also paralysing...

 Beyazgül says that the Turkish community will not cooperate in new elections for the Executive. That tale has expired. If needed,  the law must be this way modified so that it becomes for Islam possible several have representatives with respect to the government.  : hear the arrogance these turks have: we need to change our country's law to accomodate their miserable faith? and their representive bodies? BRUSSEL - Ontslagnemend voorzitter Coskun Beyazgül pleit voor een aparte vertegenwoordiging van Turken en Marokkanen.
Beyazgül komt scherp uit de hoek, nadat de Moslimexecutieve er vrijdagavond niet in geslaagd is verkozen te geraken. 'Wij als Turkse moslims dulden de sabotagepogingen van de Marokkaanse gemeenschap niet langer. De Marokkaanse moslims in de executieve hebben de boel permanent geblokkeerd.'

'Wij hebben bij de verkiezingen van 2005 onze hele achterban opgeroepen. Wij wilden dat het orgaan werkte en hebben daarvoor onze uiterste best gedaan. Het lukt niet, daarom pleiten wij nu voor een aparte vertegenwoordiging van Turkse en Marokkaanse moslims.'

Hij stelt ook dat de islam in Turkije anders beleefd wordt dan in Marokko of elders in de Arabische wereld. 'Eén vertegenwoordigend orgaan komt niet tegemoet aan die diversiteit. Stel je voor dat anglicanen, katholieken, protestanten, orthodoxen,... ook allemaal door één orgaan vertegenwoordigd zouden worden. Dat zou ook verlammend werken.'

Beyazgül zegt dat de Turkse gemeenschap niet zal meewerken aan nieuwe verkiezingen voor de executieve. 'Dat verhaal is afgelopen. Desnoods moet de wet zo gewijzigd worden opdat het voor de islam mogelijk wordt om meerdere vertegenwoordigers te hebben ten aanzien van de overheid.' (mkz)
