That's why Putin endorce a chritian ortodoxy, building more and more churches, and promotes abstinancy; the Russia will recover sooner than EU.

An FSB-controlled religion itself cannot help. You need a healthy economy, democracy, middle class to do that. I don't see that Russia in the future will be a stable industrial nation.
The Soviets destroyed the people too much. The agriculture was totally destroyed by Lenin and Stalin.
There were too much people killed in the 20th century, to easily recover.
Right now, the hidden FSB-oligarchs confiscate the billions of the Jewish oligarchs, to put them on their private Swiss bank accouts. I'm afraid Russia is going back to the Breznjev times.
But, of course, what happens here (EU,US,... ) might be even worse.
although economically Europe is going well.

Russians migh be poorer materialy but they have rich spirituality I think they aviod the traps of materialism, consumerism and cultural marxism, unlike in EU the comunists are dieng breed there. We in Eu have still money to fund welfare for muslime immigrants, demontrations of sexual perverts in Warsaw and Jerusalem and "humanitarian aid" for Palestinian terrorists. ::) We must repent and turn from the wicked ways before it's too late.

That was during the Yeltzin regime, when the west tried to impose "democracy" on Russia, and oligarhs looted the country. Putin is paying the pensions on time, the people who go hungry are drunks and bums.
