Hollywood benefit for Sderot

I read recently that three Hollywood actors (and actresses) Sylvester Stallone, Paula Abdul and Jon Voight are doing a benefit for the victims of Sderot.  I guess they mean well and I don't mean to sound ungrateful but this is the last thing Israel should be experiencing.  The whole purpose of Israel should be to build a sovereign self sufficient successful nation that is not asking for nor receiving pity from Hollywood or anyone else.  The current crop of Israeli leaders have brought us down to the level of pathetic people in Africa suffering from pestilence or famine who need Hollywood types to raise money and feel sorry for.  It sometimes feels like we have made no progress since the 1930s.

There's a progress, Today "the zionists" not the damn JOOS are vilified for every bad thing. Seriusly this is good thing that someone is doing something for Sderot inhabiatants who feel abndoned by Israeli goverment. You shud see RAMBO IV with Silvester Stalone.
