1982 Sinai Retreat : 3000 Kahanists vs Menachem Begin
« on: April 28, 2008, 05:44:09 PM »
Here's an account of the Kahanists vs Jewish Traitors confrontation that happened in the Yamit settlement during the Sinai Retreat.

On April 1982, three thousand heroic Jews, led by the Kach movement, bravely fought to keep their Land.

A true example of courage for this generation.

Archie.

Yeah...I was wondering about that too...

Are there situations where suicide could be ''acceptable'' ?

Common people they were Religious Fanatics and Zealots!  They were squatters!   :D  One can see how truly bias the news was even then.

I believe the only legal authority in Halacha to committ suicide is to confront a forced conversion and also surrounding the forced or potential murdering of another Jew.  These people shouldn't have even thought of killing themselves but killing those leading the expulsion.  One never knows, perhaps such a revolt would turn into another yearly celebrated Jewish Holiday: Hanukkah  ;)

Yeah, I was not too sure if I should post these articles or not...I mean, the first thing your read is ''Israeli-Occupied Sinai''...Hish!  :-X

It's very hard to find articles published in the mainstream media that depicts Kahanists in a favorable way...

But...I wanted to show that Kahanists, for more than 25 years, have been on the forefront of the activism when it comes to ''keeping the Land of Israel into Jewish hands''.

Unfortunately, it was more like three thousand Kahanists against the nation of Israel. Every time a kapo leader proposes a suicidal retreat, the kapo Israeli public goes along with it lockstep. What were the approval ratings amongst Israeli Jews (not Arabs) for Sinai in 1978-82? For Lebanon in 2000? For Gaza in 2005? For HaRav Meir Kahane (zt"l) getting banned from the Knesset? By the most conservative estimate, none of the approval ratings for these was below 60%. The vast majority of average Israelis are brainwashed, secular zombies. For Kahanism to succeed, we MUST convict them morally and warn them of the eternal consequences of traitorous actions and beliefs!
