I'm rather inexperienced with Jewish dietary mandates so please bear with me. After reading a few threads on the forum I've developed a notion that Kosher meat, lets say beef for example, should be a more natural product, and thus possibly healthier (or at least for the soul). I've never actively sought out Kosher products since I am non-Jewish, but its certainly peaked my interest.
My question would be, would a true Kosher beef be a naturally raised, free range animal with a supervised slaughter? Meaning it would take free range, grass fed bovines to the next step in purity. I do enjoy a steak, and I want my steak to be from a good, healthy, and happy cow rather than some poor animal mistreated for profit.
