Tommy Lapid levelled a Kahanist shul

He was very anti orthodox and gave the orders to destroy a Shul and learning center that was built to honour Rabbi Meir Kahane. That was a very low point in his public life.

What Kahanist shul was it and when did this occur?

I believe it probably was the Shul in the Tappuah hill. (most likly that one). Amoung other places I saw it, you can also see the shul in the PBS docummentery on Kahanists, etc. "Israel's Next War". You can see the Kahanists celebrating in building the shul and then the nazi's comming in and destroying the Shul.
