Richard Landes about media
« on: June 02, 2008, 07:21:56 AM »
The culture in arab countries doesn't respect freedom of speech. We know that. But this is ignored by the western media. News from arab countries are presented without even the briefest understanding about the islamic culture.

Apart from straight out propaganda this is causing much bias in the news.
People in those countries play with their lifes, if they don't go along their political correct line.

Richard Landes found one (in numbers: 1) article that shows how dangerous political incorrectness is:
The leftwing Guardian (!) reported about a woman who became victim of an honor killing, because she reported an honor killing to the western press.

How to make good news?
Kill those that make you look bad ...
The bad thing is that it works. :(
