Who slew Goliath- was it David or his cousin Elchanan ? According to 1 Samuel 17:

--- Quote ---ה וַתְּהִי-עוֹד מִלְחָמָה, אֶת-פְּלִשְׁתִּים; וַיַּךְ אֶלְחָנָן בֶּן-יעור (יָעִיר), אֶת-לַחְמִי אֲחִי גָּלְיָת הַגִּתִּי--וְעֵץ חֲנִיתוֹ, כִּמְנוֹר אֹרְגִים. {ס} 5 And there was again war with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam. {S}

There are many other inconsistencies between the two chapters (1 chronicles 20 and 2 Samuel 21). It is hard to explain all of them to typos: The giant Ishbi who is mentioned in 2Samuel21 (slain by Avishai after nearly killing David) is not mentioned at all in Chronicles. According to Samuel Sipai was slain by Chushai in Gov, according to Chronicles- in Gezer.
Are you familiar with the contrast between the two chapters, and how Jewish scholars tried to settle it?
