IsraelNN.com) Peace Now has complained that building Judea and Samaria has doubled in the past year, basing the claim on aerial photographs and building permits. It said that 2,600 residential units, including 1,000 new buildings, have been built or are currently under construction.
The Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria welcomed the news, and pointed out that Peace Now is using European Union (EU) funds to demonstrate the growth in Judea and Samaria.
"Israel is erasing the Green Line through intensive construction intended to create territorial continuity between settlement blocs and isolated settlements in the heart of the West Bank, with this construction," said Peace Now director Yariv Oppenheimer.
