The former countries like Ukrain got their gaz and oil for 1/4th of the normal market price for years.
It turned out that they sold this oil to other countries, and made huge profits for it....
I think it is normal that Russia demands that Ukrain pays the normal prices from now on, since the regime is working together with the USA, and is willing to join the new Soviet Union of the EU, and will join NATO....
