The stupid media and socialists (not liberals)

I no longer use the world liberal to describe the democrats...they are socialists.  A real liberal by the real definition of one, is open minded.  So I'm making a clarification here. We all realize that McCain is what a liberal was 25 years ago...so he is a liberal...not a conservative..and the so-called liberals of today are socialists.

Now, these socialists and socialist media are desperate.  we they can't find anything decent to attack a someone who disagrees with them, they smear them...all of you realize this about the other side.  When they get desperate, they fight dirty...hold your ground knowing that don't fear them.

I predict, assuming there is no set-back, that the republicans will win by a landslide...and there will be no riot in the large proportions you guys speak of.  It will be a new day and this time we'll have a chance to get back on our feet and continue fighting for the causes that JTF believes is right for Israel and the USA.

 Dr Dan, I ABSOLUTELY agree!!! These people are NOT liberals, and todays conservative NOT conservative at all!!!!!!!!!!  SOMEONE HAS to stand UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT!!!!!! AND NOBODY IS!  People are REFUSING to stand for what is RIGHT!!! I dont know how I am going to fit into this world anymore.

Well, you know the whole issue of liberalism as "left" and conservatism as "right" is not entirely accurate.  I think that I used to be a liberal, and I haven't changed so much as the political landscape has changed.  What used to be liberal philosophies are now considered right wing or centrist.  Those who identify themselves as being on the left are what we would have considered to be the ultra left years ago.

 I thnik that the political spectrum is more circular than linear.  There is still ultra left and ultra right.  The ultra left is communism and the ultra right is fascism.  That is how people normally believe in political positioning.  What I mean by circular is that when you get more left than communism, you get fascism, which is where I see many people who identify themselves as being on the left today.  They don't tolerate discussion.  They don't tolerate any ideas which are dangerous to their doctrine.  But they claim to be for tolerance!  They are the ultimate example of 1984; doublethink, newspeak, ingsoc, and the like.

There was a time I was proud to call myself a liberal.  I was reacting to what I considered to be rightist fascism.  But like I've said, I still pretty much believe in the same things, (with a few exceptions, of course), so why would the left label me as a fascist?
