His internal polls are showing that he is dropping like a rock
in Michigan and he probably wants to limit spending to other swing states.
But Its the height of stupidity since it sends a bad signal
throughout his campaign that he is conceding defeat in Michigan
This could cause a massive decrease in morale.
I cant believe he is conceding Michigan with month
to go since polls can turn on a dime.
Then he better not lose any red states and win Pa.
The psychological impact of this is very bad ..

Sadly you are right Virginia and North Carolina are slipping from our grasps. McCain is weak. Mr No Pork Barrel voted for a 100 page slice of pork when he voted for the bail out. We can only pray to HaShem that things go our way.

The last couple weeks have been terrible ....
and Obama is running more ads there ....

I have heard that in a crash people tend to vote for the other party than the one that was in power at the time of the crash.

But judging by some articles posted here,  this crash was due largely to policies from the democrat party.  It's odd that people don't recognise that.

You have to pick your battles in an election, and McCain does not have the unlimited resources that Obama has.  My understanding is that Michigan has a huge black population, hence McCain's chances there are slim to none.  It might make sense for him to focus on the states that he can win.
