German bank announces collapse of 35 billion euro rescue

BERLIN (AFP) - German bank Hypo Real Estate (HRE) said Saturday that a planned 35-billion-euro (48-billion-dollar) rescue had fallen through after the banking consortium involved pulled out of the deal.

It is clever from them not to engage in this suicide-mission. But I fear, that the bolschewist German gouvernment will force them in the end to do so.

They will loose billions of Euro through this, because the old management of the Hypo Real Estate that caused the trouble is staying and I know by myself, if your company is in economic trouble it is not enough to take money from the bank and fix the problems with it.

You have to go to the roots of the problem, because if you don't change the responsible things, you only burn the money.

Joseph Ackermann is clever enough to see this. I have my bank account at his bank.  :)

Now it has happened. 35 billions plus 15 billions.

And this is just the beginning.

Fools, but on the other hand they had no choice because the gouvernment is pressuring ...

I don't know what to make of it.
On one side it's crazy to help banks out with billions of taxpayers' money when their management is not able to handle risks properly.
On the other side there is the potential for a major crisis. The banks start getting reluctant giving credits to other banks (let alone to startup companies)  because they have already started mistrusting each other.
Imaging the mistrust spreads among the average people who im sum have saved billions on bank accounts.
Once enough people want their money back we might be on the edge of who knows what because the banks can't hand out the money which will result in more people wanting their money back.
If I was part of the government I wouldn't be so sure about the adequate solution right now.

The Euro-Communism is shaking on the way to collapse. Carrillo may now be too old to provide some suggestions for survival.

They are talking now about 100 Billions credit guarantees for the Hypo Real Estate.  :::D

35 Billions

50 Billions

100 Billions

what is next. This fools! And the management gets for it's great successes golden parachutes ...

The CEO will get ca. 60 000 $ every month until he dies as pension and the tax payer has to blood.

Like I said before Socialism is for this very rich persons like    cockaigne  :'(

How did they come up with such high figures, it even surpasses AIG's $85B bail out.

You can read it here: http://www.sueddeutsche.de/658385/399/2565791/Und-taeglich-gruesst-die-Hypo-Real-Estate.html

The 35 (50) billions are only to ensure the liquidity of this bank in 2008. In 2009 they need additional 20-50 billions.

This is a bottomless pit.  :o

No, I have read in the FAZ [http://faz.net ] that the Deutsche Bank acted very professional and will not suffer from this crisis.

Imo the most money they will loose by helping the Hypo Real Estate. But I think they had no choice. The bolschewist gouvernement forced them to do so.

Euro-Communist authorities may be in collusion with Arabian money to accrue some ultimate mutual benefits arising of this apparently financial apocalypse.
