Tonycali99, the Rabbis in Avot say that having evil friends leads one to the evil path. Get yourself some Torah abiding friends and get rid of the sodomites. You don't want to burn in hell like they will and they will only drag you down with them.

--- Quote ---Firstly, The Bible was given to the Jewish People and no other at Sinai, thus according to the Talmud, which Rabbi Kahane quotes often in his monumental achievement "The Jewish Idea": The Jewish People are made in HaShem's image and not all humanity. The Jewish people were chosen for a reason, not the Blacks, Arabians, Asians, Persians, Egyptians, Greeks or anyone else. The Jewish people took over the covenant HaShem had made with Adam before he sinned. This is why the Jewish People are referred to as "Adam" and to be held to HaShem's higher standards to be a nation of Priests.

Shalom Chaim, this is just in response to Marzutra....
The above quote could not be further from the truth. It's complete and utter nonsense. I for one, do not hold the Talmud with the same respect that I hold the Torah She BiCh'sav. The covenant G-d made with we Jews is NOT the same covenant G-d had with Adam. If it were, we would all be living forever...which Adam would have done had he obeyed G-d in the first place.Adam was not a Jew. Adam was not a Hebrew. Adam was simply a man created in Hashem's image. Eve, the first woman was taken out of Adam and therefore she too is a part of G-d's image.
ALL those who descend from Adam are therefore created in Hashem's image. Period.
It is arrogance and self conceit to believe otherwise.
At Sinai Hashem did choose the Hebrews which became the Nation of Israel to be His people. But he didn't do it because we were so great and awsome. He would have wiped us all out in the desert if Moshe had not pleaded to G-d on our behalf. No, Hashem picked we Jews because through us, the weak, the oppressed He could show His glory to all mankind. We are the proof in this world of Hashem's existence. We are his prized possession yes...but He uses us as an object lesson to the rest of the world. Because quite simply...He loves them too.

Very well said.. But bear in mind even though what you wrote was true, it isn't just that Gd chose us...We also chose Him. He did not give us the Torah; we received the Torah from Him.

I think the word you are looking for is "Hindi", but I want to clarify a couple of things, Danny.
1: Northern Indians, Pakistanis, and Sinhalese (native ethnic group of Sri Lanka) are all Sanskritic/Brahminic/Ayurvedic peoples. They originated from northern India and at one time all used the now-extinct Sanskrit language (the South Asian equivalent of Latin). Hindi, Gujarati (I think), Sinhalese, and Urdu (the latter an attempt to copy Hindi using the Arabic alphabet) are all Sanskritic languages the way Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. are all Romance languages.
2: Dravidians living in southern India and Sri Lanka (Tamils, Keralans, Telugus, etc.) are COMPLETELY different from northern Indians and use the Dravidic language system, which has nothing to do with Sanskrit and, like Albanian, is quite unrelated to any other language family in the world. They also have a much different national/cultural character fron northern Indian Hindus, being rather more militant, and, in the case of Tamils, downright genocidal.
3: Pakistanis are racial Sanskritic Indians who converted to Islam, much like Bosnians are Serbs who converted to Islam. They speak a different language (Urdu), which though still Sanskritic is an artificial attempt to Islamicize Hindi. Sinhalese are Buddhists instead of Hindu, but are racially and culturally related to Northern Indians. Tamils have no connection to any of the above except Pakistanis (in the sense of being jihadist and Nazilike).
Try to look at it this way in a linguistic/racial/ethic sense, using Eastern European/west Asian nationalities as a model:
Northern Indians would be the Russians of south Asia.
Indian Muslims would be the Chechens of south Asia.
Pakistanis are the Bosnians of south Asia.
Sinhalese are the Serbs of south Asia.
Dravidians in general would be the Turkmen, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, etc. of south Asia.
Tamils are the Albanians of south Asia.

Chaim:
I have a running debate going on the wikipedia page for Barak Hussein Obama where I am arguing that he had a Muslim upbringing and speicifically that he was registered as a Muslim in his elementary schools in Indoenesia.
The Obama supporters have told me that that Fox News Reports which claimed Obama went to Muslim schools were debunked and retracted. However, I insist to them that while he may not have gone to a Muslim school he was REGISTERED as a Muslim.
BUT I NEED A SOURCE FOR THIS. They have challenged me to produce a source. Please tell me how we know how he was registered as a child.
P.S. In the future I would encourage you to always cite sources for your arguments whenever possible. For instance, if your YouTube video on this topic cited valid sources Fox News or Savage or Hannity probably would have picked up the story already.
Thank you for your answers each week.
From Jimmy Sullivan: The following is a link to a Los Angeles Times story dated March 15, 2007. The LA Times is a very leftwing, pro-Obama newspaper. Here's the article:
http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-obama15mar15,0,5315525,full.story
Here is a quote from the article:
"His former Roman Catholic and Muslim teachers, along with two people who were identified by Obama's grade-school teacher as childhood friends, say Obama was registered by his family as a Muslim at both of the schools he attended."
Barack was called Barry in Indonesia. And here's what someone who knew him told the LA Times:
"His mother often went to the church, but Barry was Muslim. He went to the mosque," Adi said. "I remember him wearing a sarong."
Of course, the Obama family and the Obama campaign lie in the article to try to cover up his Islamic beliefs. But facts still come out that make it clear that Obama was raised to be a Muslim.
