« on: October 26, 2008, 08:28:51 PM »
Question No. 1 was about Marxism and Biden got all red in the face >:( and said, "Are you kidding me? :fright: Is this a joke?  :throw:

Question No. 2.....I didn't hear it because he started yelling, "Is this a joke? :coffee:

This was on Fox News and they cut away from the tape, reporting, "His wife cancelled her appearance." :D

They were guests on some tv news program [don't think it was Fox. just some local program] wherever it is he's appearing. :::D

what a shameless, lying, two faced, whore of a political snake that Biden is!

If go to around the 4:15 point in the video he goes on a tirade and concludes that 'Barrack Obama is more ready than John McCain'...

He says this with conviction in an almost indignant way, which is interesting considering he said the exact opposite just a few months ago that is even shown in McCains video ad!

These two clips should be edited together to show just how full of $#!t botox joe is.

He's not just a liar, he is a bad liar.

I think he lies more readily and more frequently than any politician I have ever seen on the television.

Info about Barbara West:

When Barbara West asked a few tough questions to Sen. Joe Biden, she had little idea she would become an Internet sensation overnight.

Biden accused her of having someone else write her questions and implied she was part of the "right wing."

So who is Barbara West?

West is a television news veteran who previously worked for ABC News anchor Peter Jennings. For the past 16 years, she has served as health reporter and anchor for Orlando's WFTV.

Though a local news anchor, she has a history of tackling tough stories.

West says on her biography page on WFTV's Web site: "I have covered stories of people, politics and medical breakthroughs. My work has taken me across the country and around the world. From Washington, D.C., I covered the inauguration of President Bush and the impeachment of President Clinton.

"When Hillary Clinton attempted to reform our health care system, I traveled to Canada to examine the Canadian national health care system as a possible model for the U.S.

"From the heart of Ukraine, I was the only Western reporter to broadcast from inside the nuclear reactor building at Chernobyl on the 10th anniversary of the nuclear disaster there. I also uncovered the long term toll in increased incidence of cancer that the disaster had on the surrounding population."

Before settling at WFTV, West was stationed in London as the principal assistant to Jennings during his years as the anchor for ABC's “World News Tonight.”

She has won several journalism awards.

Prior to working in television news, she worked as an assistant professor at the University of Vermont and represented Vermont in the Miss America Pageant.

She is married to Wade West, an international media consultant to politicians, professionals and organizations.

Biden is condescending.  How dare him ask that reporter if she writes her own questions.  You know why he said that; because she got under his skin and he doesn't see women as equals, so he degrades them.

All I saw was a snippet on Fox & Friends so it was funny.  They did not show the whole piece.

Why can't these 2 pieces of $hit answer questions without losing their heads?  I don't know which one is worse: Obama or Biden.  If anything happens to Obama, then Biden would be Pres. :o

Biden's got a lot of gall treating this seasoned reporter in this manner.  No wonder she mentioned the Marxism question

Paper: Obama Campaign Payback At TV Station
Posted by Kevin Hechtkopf| 57

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the Obama campaign has told station WFTV-Channel 9 not to expect any more interviews until after the election.

According to a blog on the paper's Web site, this stems from a satellite interview the Orlando station's Barbara West conducted with Joe Biden on Thursday.

West asked the Democratic vice presidential nominee to defend whether the ticket's policies were "Marxist" and whether Biden's comments about Obama being "tested" early in his presidency were saying "America's days as the world's leading power are over."

During the interview, Biden reacted with surprise to the questions.

"Are you joking?" he asked at one point. "No," the anchor responded. Later, Biden said: "I don't know who's writing your questions."

The paper reports that the campaign then cancelled a planned interview the station had scheduled with Jill Biden.

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, central Florida communications director for the campaign, according to the paper.

Watch the interview with Biden.

When Biden decides to get into a fight with a woman, he'd better make sure she doesn't have credentials like Barbara's:

Barbara West

For the past 16 years, I have served as health reporter and anchor for WFTV's news at noon and 5:30.

I have covered stories of people, politics and medical breakthroughs. My work has taken me across the country and around the world. From Washington, D.C. I covered the inauguration of President Bush and the impeachment of President Clinton.

When Hillary Clinton attempted to reform our health care system, I traveled to Canada to examine the Canadian national health care system as a possible model for the U.S.

From the heart of Ukraine, I was the only Western reporter to broadcast from inside the nuclear reactor building at Chernobyl on the 10th anniversary of the nuclear disaster there. I also uncovered the long term toll in increased incidence of cancer that the disaster had on the surrounding population.

Before relocating to Florida, I worked as the principal assistant to Peter Jennings during his years as the anchor for ABC's World News Tonite in London. I helped Peter cover such stories as the Royal Wedding of Charles and Diana and the hostage crisis in Iran where 52 Americans were imprisoned by their captors for more than 400 days.

I was given the 2002 Summit Award for community service by the Central Florida Women's Resource Center and was voted Best Health Reporter in an Orlando Sentinel newspaper poll. I also received an Emmy award for my reporting on women fighting breast cancer.

My work with Channel 9 and the Central Florida Fire Chiefs Association helped raise nearly 2.5 million dollars for the September 11th Fund which went directly to the families of the firefighters, police and Port Authority officers who lost their lives in the disaster. The City of New York Fire Chief noted it was the largest single contribution from any city or region in the country, including New York and L.A.

I have been active in helping the Central Florida Blood Bank raise blood donations. The twice-a-year blood drives here at the Channel 9 studios have helped raise an estimated 50 thousand units of blood.

Prior to working in television news, I was an assistant professor at the University of Vermont and represented Vermont in the Miss America Pageant. I hold a Master's Degree from the University of Vermont.

I am married to Wade West, an international media consultant to politicians, professionals and organizations. Together we often serve as auctioneers at various fundraising events throughout the state.
