In many states, you don't have to notify anyone that you are homeschooling your kids. Therefore, if you NEVER had your kids in regular school, they won't know they exist, KWIM? My kids have NEVER been registered in any formal school unless you count afternoon Hebrew school...they have ALWAYS been homeschooled, and so they are below the radar as far as the govt is concerned.
