Rod Blagojevich Thing
« on: December 09, 2008, 10:58:40 AM »
I just came to learn he is a Serb. Blagojevich's L sound is silent? Can any Serbian friend here confirm this pronunciation?

Wow,sort of difficult to pronounce.
Anyway, I feel bad for him. But it proves America is still great with the rule of laws working soundly.
Is he popular with Serbian community in Chicago?

Serbian L is more deep then English L!
I have this accent even when I speak Romanian, which is my other best spoken language, besides Serbian!
I understood that this Serbian guy was born here in US! Is that true?

How come it is always the democratic politician who gets into trouble? Bush didn't sleep with a whole bunch of women the way Clinton did. Pataki did not get involved with a prostitute like Spitzer or New Jersey's governor before Corzine. Didn't Corzine also get into some type of trouble? Why do the democrats always choose lunatics.

Because the lunatics in America are always naturally attracted to the Democratic party, kind of like the way flies are naturally attracted to dog faeces.

Of course this doesn't mean all Republicans are perfect paragons of virtue either, but then again in most cases they aren't anywhere near as base and devoid of any moral principle as most of the Democrats are.

We don't like him over here in Chicago. He never did anything for Serbian community and never came to protest for Kosovo independence even as a Serb not as a governor. This year he needed the money for election and he came to Serbian church and to get in you needed to make donation of $100 what a ignorant fool!I don't like him at all + when someone ask him where his from he doesn't want to say Serbia he would say he is from eastern Europe.Yeah he is born here.

I didn't see the part about him being Serb until now. It is interesting that he is not stepping down. I do find it suspicious that Jesse Jackson Jr is trying to get the senate seat. I also find it suspicious that Patterson ended up taking over for Spitzer and then Sptizer was never prosecuted. Despite Blagojevich being a self-hating Serb, it doesn't prevent hatred against him for his identity. I'm wondering if he is really innocent. I do believe in the concept of innocent until proven guilty. I just don't believe in the lengthy process to establish it. All the politicians are pressuring him to step down, but what if he truly is innocent?

One thing I have to say for him is that he has the b-lls of a brass monkey. Here he is caught dead to rights and he is still trying to carry on. The funniest thing I heard tonight is that all he wants is for things to calm down and get back to normal. He should try selling the seat on EBay. This filthy animal should be put in the worst Federal prison they can find. Honestly I don't care where he is from he just needs to go!

Wow,sort of difficult to pronounce.

I honestly don't understand why they can't pronounce his name on American Television Networks. What's so hard?

Can you say Bla? Bla
Can you say go? go
Can you say je ("ye" sound)? je
Can you say vich? vich

Bla-go-je-vich. Unless you're a retard, I don't see any difficulty. I honestly think they're doing it on purpose or at least not even trying.

Why are you quoting me as saying that?
I know how to pronounce his name

Personally i do NOT consider Blagojevic as a Serb. Just like many so called Serbs here in Chicago. Like we don't have enough Serb haters... we need this?  :disease:
