I don't think that watching sports is wrong at all.
In fact I like the UFC a lot. Mostly because it is not nearly as corrupt as pro-boxing, they test them for roids, the salaries aren't huge, and they have to be in awesome physical condition.
but I don't understand why grown people go so ape-s#it for for pro atheletes (posters, trading cards, memorizing elaborate statistics from 1950 all the nostalgia etc...) or how they let the wins/losses of their team affect their mood so much.
It's the media worship and the attention to their personal lives and the fact that they are considered the role models of society.
If their salaries were a lot less and they were seen as human beings I might like it a little more.
