Too much oil and we are still depending on the Muslims

I don't get it, but we have so much oil in Alaska, Texas, on every ocean front, and IL. I was driving past all these oil pumps. They are not allowed to take out but small amounts on all these lands because of the governement. Why? Our nation is bent on self destruction. We can't drill because the government would rather rely on the Muslims, which at a flip of a switch can destroy this nation (and they know it). This dependency affects our nation's sovereignty. Anyone have information on more about this? My husband and I own land that has a lot of oil. I sure would like to see the money from it.
