This is the stuff of nightmares.  I don't know what the mob was chanting, but it wasn't support for this man.  They don't realize that they have become everything they claim they hate.  They are not for justice or free speech, or civil liberties.  They are for their own ideology, unopposed and beyond contempt.  I think we're seeing a really extraordinary unfolding of history now, like the corruption of the French revolution.  These will be very turbulent times indeed.

But I was trying to analyze it...

Large crowd chanting for Obama...

One lone person wearing anti Obama t-shirt.

Only a few cops...they were probably frustrated, perhaps even a bit scared at what could erupt.

They tried to get the guy to just leave. He would not leave, he was gonna keep arguing about it.

They even gave him a warning, he failed to listen, just kept arguing with them.

In the background, we have a bunch of people chanting, etc.

The cops might have only done the only thing they felt safe doing at that moment in time.

I dunno.

I always have to psychoanalyze everything.

I go to counter-protest rallies against groups like ANSWER and MECA and the police keep us on opposite sides of the street.  So, I don't know, are we reading too much into this?

I will say, though, that's it's way more dangerous to wear a McCain t-shirt at an Obama rally than an Obama t-shirt at a McCain rally. You risk your life being among these savages. This guy could have been killed.  The police probably saved his life.
