NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan on Sunday called President-elect Barack Obama "America's blessing," and he urged the black community to overcome divisions and organize behind one agenda.

Farrakhan, speaking on the last day of the State of the Black World conference in New Orleans, said it would be a disservice to Obama to place unreal expectations on him with the country's current economic condition. And he said there's work to be done by everyone.

Farrakhan also spoke warmly of Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who had attended the conference and was among those honored Saturday night. He said Wright does not hate America but he detest injustices that occur in this country.

I just recalled this moment back in high school , a year ago. Where i walked into the office where i had to pay senior dues.
The first thing to catch my eye was a big poster  of the honorable elijah muhhamad on the wall with a quote.

I always thought to myself why they would put him on  a school wall? They might as well should have put David duke or Adolf hitler. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Of course i said nothing as usual.
