Hamas missile frightens Israeli minister
« on: December 30, 2008, 01:13:57 AM »
Israeli trade and industry minister, Eli Yishai, was forced to take cover after Palestinians in the Gaza Strip sent missiles into Israel.
The minister, who is also the leader of Israel's ultra-Orthodox Shas party, was forced to take cover during an interview when rocket warning sirens went off around him in Ashdod, Israel on Tuesday.

Palestinian fighters fired missiles into Israel on Tuesday which claimed an Israeli soldier's life after three days of Israeli bombing raids on the Gaza Strip.

At least 355 Palestinians have lost lives and 1590 others sustained injuries since Israel launched its fierce bombing campaign on the Gaza Strip on Saturday.

According to Witnesses, the Israeli airstrikes have led to the destruction of dozens of houses in Gaza.

The assault has been described as the biggest act of violence in 60 years of Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The Israeli regime has vowed it would destroy every building used by the Islamic Hamas movement.
