only and only arabic starts from right to left!
does anybody have any idea about the reason behind it???

The is reason is simple: Arabic borrowed it from Hebrew

actually there's a whole family of semitic languages that go from right to left.. most of them are extinct

technically you can write any language right to left or left to right!!

apparently chinese japanese and korean are written vertically from top to bottom!

Did Jews write with the right or the left hand? I ask because if I write Hebrew for learning reasons with the right hand the ink is sometimes wished by it.

archaeologists would agree that hebrew dates back further than arabic..
in those days hebrew was written in the script ktav ivri, rather than the ktav ashuri that we use today.

I think arabic borrowed from hebrew(in ktav ivri) and aramaic..

I did once have a tree of the languages showing which developed from which..

You write with whatever hand you have best control over.

It is normal when left handers write english,  that the ink wipes across the page and it is messy from the ink and also the writing isn't so neat..  When left handers write hebrew it is neater and the ink doesn't smudge!!

Don't use an ink pen. Use what we call in britain - a felt tip pen. A "marker" perhaps in america.

Thanks for the advise. Yes I have used a stylograph or in other words fountain pen.
