It is made from a fish called Lodde or Capelin.
The Lodde belongs to the Salmons.

There is a German caviar too, that I bought today. It is very cheap and is from the sea rabbit or

but it tastes great.
This is not kosher, because the Sea rabbit or Lumpsucker has no scalls.

Oh I forgot: The Lodde caviar looks exactly like the caviar of the sea rabbit.
The taste is salty and only a little bit fishy.

I would like to try caviar one day just to see what it's like but I've never tried it.
