Why I Keep A Gun.....

Why I Keep Guns in my home and will pick-up one or two more; I will learn to shoot them on a firing range and not

on my street.

 

My old grandpa said to me son, 'there comes a time in every mans life when he stops bustin knuckles and starts bustin caps' and usually it's when he becomes too old to take an donkey whoopin'.

 

I don't Keep a gun to kill people.

I Keep a gun to keep  from being killed.

I don't Keep a gun to scare people.

I Keep a gun because sometimes this world can be a

scary place.

I don't Keep a gun because I'm paranoid.

I Keep a gun because there are real threats in the world.

I don't Keep a gun because I'm evil.

I Keep a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.

I don't Keep a gun because I hate the government.

I Keep a gun because I understand the limitations of government.

I don't Keep a gun because I'm angry.

I Keep a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.

I don't Keep a gun because I want to shoot someone.

I Keep a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

I don't Keep a gun because I'm a cowboy.

I Keep a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I

want to be a cowboy.

I don't Keep a gun to make me feel like a man.

I Keep a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.

I don't Keep a gun because I feel inadequate.

I Keep a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.

I don't Keep a gun because I love it.

I Keep a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

Police Protection is an oxymoron.

 

Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.


Dialing 911 is nothing more than government sponsored 'dial a prayer'.

 

Personally, I Keep a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an donkey whoopin'. ..

The world we live in is getting crazier by the day and we must protect ourselves.

The best way to win in any fight. Starts in the mind you have to make up your mind that you are going to win and live to go home to the wife or hubby. You have to practice practice often with your firearm to the point you can draw and aim and fire your weapon with two torso shots in 1.5 seconds. This can be done.

The farmers, the hunters, the single women, the avid sportsmen have guns for protection or to have wholesome pure venison or other fresh meat.  We abide by the safety rules, lock our guns up from our children, and obey the laws of the land.

Guns are not the problem, its the criminals that misuse them, and break the laws.  Its the terrorists, the drug dealers, and the criminals who abuse them, not the average law abiding citizen.

My cousin who works for the state police has been warning people that there will be all kinds of social unrest due to Obama's tax hikes, and bailouts.  Everybody's budgets will be constrained, and the police over-burdened.  Do your self a favor and make sure you have a weapon, and know how to use it safely to protect yourself and your family.

Your first paragraph is ALL common sense and why don't the people in Washington have ANY of it? I mean COME ON ALREADY!!!!!!!!!! I get so aggravated and disgusted by them!
