Greetings Chaim. Many times when a baby growing inside of his or her mother is diagnosed with a genetic disease, such as Down's Syndrome or Tay-Sachs, doctors put intense pressure on the mother to abort her baby. They behave as if it's a foregone conclusion. Many mothers are told their baby will look "hideous" depending on what the disability will be. Even after birth many of these babies are not given treatments that could save their lives. If you were Prime Minister of Israel, what would you do to change this medical culture at least in that country to respect the lives of the disabled, both born and unborn?

Let me tell you something else...if you find yourself scared because you live in a dangerous area, why don't you just get yourself a handgun and a permit to carry it? It isn't hard to do.
