In case anyone is interested in qualifying for the European soccer championships.  It was nice to see a packed stadium at Ramat Gam in Israel.

The trains broke Shabbat to get people to the game. They left just after Shabbat so the workers broke Shabbat in order to operate the trains to get them ready.

Why do they have to hold it on a saturday or friday evening. They try and MAKE something sinful and evil. I mean come on, what hassle would it be for them to hold it on a sunday?! These petty things cause ultimate disruption and defy the title of Israel being a jewish state, in terms of religiousness not race.

However its good to see Israel has got it in them to level england, who are pretty damn  good.

I agree.  The game should probably have been moved later to avoid any confilict, but as has been pointed out by Chaim, the majority of Israelis do not keep Shabbat anyway unfortunately.
