Mord,

I am not so sure this genius was a Muslim.
My Grandmother lives in the Netherlands and I spoke with her and she said, "she was pretty sure he was not a Muslim, but rather a guy who had or was losing his house, lost his job, and was in some pretty dire straits".  She was under the impression from what was being reported that it was an act of desperation and the guy just cracked.

I will find out more this weekend when I speak to her.

Maybe he wasn't, but knowing the Dutch laws.... they wouldn't have much problem to, if they wanted.
