« on: April 21, 2009, 03:50:30 AM »
Getting baptized. I would like to seed ozen of such scenes! Courageous and righteous people who "swear to turn their back to the evil and the violence to live in peace." This is what he had to swear! Very nice. Seems to be a good person.

Yes I have heard of them. They are mainly atheists and some of them deists.

I have althrough no problems with them.

Some Iranians hate the quranimals more than even we do. I have met a few Iranian girls who were "islamophobic".

Most of the secular and non-muslim Iranians are still very nationalists. They are not committed to uproot Islam from their society.

I think Zelhar, that you are partially wrong in this case.

The ones I met hated nothing more than Islam and the Mullah's. They were basically European girls.

This is true! In Germany / Europe, most Iranians are either Armenians, Baha'i or intellectual islamcritic or non-islamic refugees who left Iran because of the islamic revolution. Those do not support Iranian government, have no prejudice against Jews or Christians and the very most of them a highly integrated into the society being doctors, scientists, lawyers etc...

I grew up next door to people like that.  They were Farsi speakers, and fled Iran just prior to the Revolution.  Both the Husband and Wife were doctors.  They were secular, and very assimilated into American society.  They knew we were Jews but we got along just fine, and they were wonderful neighbors.
They used to have us over for dinner and vice-versa frequently.
Thus the Jews struck all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying; and they did what they pleased to those who hated them.
