Armed guards in synagogues as if a bunch of Nazis were in the area. Unbelievable yet absolutely justified to have this security measure.
And I agree; profile. Profile the tar out of these people. Why is half of this even going on? Because the US has trashy liberal immigration policy that lets people in from violent low IQ third world toilets because not doing so would be "discrimination," thus we have to play whack a mole with people who want to kill us.
I did not own ANY gun my whole life until early this year. I'm 43 and bought a conceal carry weapon and a 5.56 caliber AK early this year. Now carrying my firearm nearly everywhere I go, I can't see how I went without it. I feel absolutely safer now.

Can you explain why you think the synagogues should not be fortified? Why is it unwise for Jews to defend themselves? This was the same mentality of Jews in Europe, before they were all shipped off to concentration camps to be exterminated. I think you should reconsider.
Only if there is a fear that the Synagogue will be attacked should security be increased. Synagogue is not like a mosque where arms are to be stockpiled. There is also the issue of having guns on Shabbat. I am fully for defending Jews, and in my minyan we have a member who is a SWAT officer who carries his gun. I have been Davening at shul for many years now and have never seen a single incident of antisemitism. I would certainly be disinclined to go to a shul with the measures you mention, having to produce identity papers, etc... Our shul is open to each and every Jew in the community and it would be shaming a Jew to have to question his Jewishness.
The reason I question your motivation is that it seems that many 'other' groups stand to gain by stoking the flames between Jews and Blacks, and Islam. I am a Jew who questions the reason non-Jews take interest in Jewish concerns because they may have alterior motives, like the Catholic church, etc. Of course we welcome any person who wants Jews to reside in Israel as Hashem has willed it to be. But sometimes non-Jews don't understand why we are the way we are.
I have lived in peace and thank Hashem for the continued peace which my congregation and I have had. I see no reason now to change our security procedures. It is up to the synagogue to assess the threat and make appropriate measures to protect the people.

Actually if there is an eruv you can carry a gun on shabbos they do it here in Israel.
It it is not uncommon to see men in shul with pistols strapped to their hips or with M-16's slung over their shoulders here in shul.
Also after 911 when I was in the US the rav announced that all those that have guns should wear them to shul on shabbos until further notice whether the eruv was up or not.

So they're going after Jews who support the defense of their race. Just reminds me of why this group of people are idiotic beyond repair and thus completely worthless.
