I'm not against learning other languages as an academic pursuit. I'm against it replacing English because third world monsters don't want to learn.

I could not agree more takebackourtemple! Not only that, but the US of A is a "melting pot" for a reason. EVERYONE speaks English! You want to keep your "home" language, fine, speak it at home! Makes me sick that Home Depot and Lowe's have all their signs in 2 languages.

It is customary and mostly practised that if you move to a different Country, you adapt to their language.
Here in the United States it seems to be the opposite, the masses of Illegal aliens refuse to learn for whatever reason.
The Liberals go out of their way to cater to the Illegal aliens by forcing us to adapt to the changes instead.
The Liberals motivation for this is Political, give in to the masses and they vote for you.

Our President's idea that our population of the U.S.A. should learn other languages to assimilate to foreigners is a complete joke.  Why shouldn't foreigners and/or immigrants  learn our Great Nation's home language.  He has no conception of what is the right way to govern this country. 
When he made fun of U.S.A. citizens needing to learn french so that when they visit France they can fit in with that country; he made a complete fool of himself. 
When you immigrate to Israel, you need to learn the language of Hebrew and the government even gives you a test to make sure that you have a basic understanding of Israel and it's culture.  And it should be the same way here in America, not the backwards mentality that Obama supports or wants to enact.

See, I've been saying for too long now, the people of this country have TOO MUCH TOLERANCE! It must stop and people need to speak out against what they do NOT want, instead of sitting back and thinking someone else will take care of it FOR us. We can't be a "melting pot" if everyone doesn't speak ENGLISH!

I love the way Israel treats its immigrants! That is the way it should be here.

   And what about the foreign language requirements for foreigners. I remember taking Spanish 1 in high school. I wanted to learn it, but I was in a class where half the students were native Spanish speakers. I did horribly in that course because the teacher expected me to learn as fast as the people who spoke it at home. Ironically, many Spanish speakers were still among the bottom of the class because they didn't do their homework or show up for all of the classes.
   They had a choice of around ten different languages at my high school other than Spanish. What about forcing them to learn a new language?

Americans should understand Spanish not speak it. It's impossible to go anywhere and not hear that lingo being used. Over the years I have picked up enough of it by watching the Spanish news broadcasts for a short time now and then. I can now get a grasp on what is being said around me. This is the only group of people that has come to America and has done everything in their power to resist using the English language and has insisted the system be changed for them. English as the common language  has been one of the factors that made this country able to absorb people from all over the world and get them to live and work together. It was the first step in becoming an American.

And if the illegals are to be taught Spanish, at least they should be taught textbook spanish and not the slang which is much more extensive in their cultures than English is.

I thought he may have had some upbringing by his white grandparents but when I thought about it a bit I came to the conclusion that they had failed with his mother so why would the results change with him. He really is not out of touch however...... He knows just where he is going and he has filthy white self hating liberal animals to help him get there. He told all of America what he planned to do with his spread the wealth programs. A good deal of Americans like the sort of policy that controls the boss man from getting to rich and they find this Administrations policies attractive. Almost everything this animal and his administration have done since in office has damaged the well being of hard working Americans and benefited the least productive sectors of the population.

yes it seems that those who support obama are under his spell! they have lost all logic and to put in plainly, this guy scares me! He is a muslim supporter and makes it very clear every time he bows to one of their leaders. He does not have democracy's interest at heart. he supports socialism and makes that quite clear!
