Why have the Serbian members not liked you in the past? How come you didn't know what Clinton did?
Anyways, thank you for your warm thoughts. But I hope you understand why a lot of Serbs are angry and have anti-U.S. sentiments.

And what do we get in return? We get bombed for 78 days and on top of that we get to have our homeland (Kosovo) taken away from us and given to a bunch of filthy barbaric Albanians. Getting stabbed in the back like that really hurts.
We've always looked up to the United States. We've tried to instill American values into our society. It's why we've been so loyal and so desperate for U.S. support. I know Milosevic was a madman but what the Americans and the West did to us in the 90's was uncalled for. It still hurts.

Shalom brother Serbian Canadian,
actually it wasn't 400 soldiers per se but over 500 American flyers and pilots. Yet another remarkable act of incredible heroism and self-sacrifice on the part of our Serbian brothers and sisters during World War 2 on behalf of Allied forces.
As to your second point, it was NOT Milosevic who was a "mad man" during the 1990's but Bill Clinton and the NATO/EU leaders who were utterly evil [or if you prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt, completely insane] for backing a muslim Nazi terrorist group - the Albanian KLA - and for deliberately bombing Serbian civilian infrastructure for 3 months resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent civilian Serbian men, women and children.
If anything, Slobodan Milosevic - who was an atheist and leftist social democrat - proved to be too weak and soft towards the vicious, genocidal Nazi enemies of the Serbs: the Ustasha Croats and the Albanian and Bosnian Muslim Nazis who wanted to repeat what they did during the 1941 to 1945 Holocaust in Yugoslavia when they slaughtered over 1.2 Million Serbs in Croatia and Bosnia alone.

Incidentally, when I say that the late President Slobodan Milosevic was an "atheist and leftist social democrat" I do not mean that in a pejorative manner the way we JTF'ers decsribe the Israeli Leftist Bolshevik establishment who constantly bend over backwards to appease the Arab Muslim Nazis - nor do I mean to imply that President Milosevic - who despite all of his weaknesses and betrayal of the Krajina Serbs, as well as the Republic of Srpska and Kosovo-Metohija Serbs - was anything like the hideous pro-Muslim Nazi Israeli establishment or that of the Barack Hussein Obama administration.
There is a world of difference between the above pro-muslim traitors and the late President Slobodan Milosevic - who despite his atheism and socialist economic beliefs - decided that he could no longer tolerate the Kristallnacht Nazi-like pogroms of the pro-Ustasha Franjo Tudjman regime in Croatia, the Islamofascist Muslim Nazi regime of Alija Izetbegovic in Bosnia as well as the decades-long injustices of ethnic cleansing and attempted genocide of the Serbian people in Kosovo-Metohija imposed by the Croat Bolshevik Communist dictator Josip Broz Tito.
PS: President Milosevic was murdered in the "ICTY" kangaroo court in The Hague, Netherlands by NATO intelligence operatives in March 2006 after well over 4 years of his sham "trial" failed to produce a shred of evidence of war crimes.
