Gmar Chatima Tova and Tzom Kal
I don't mean to be a pain, but I'm sure you didn't really mean the second part
of your sentence. The Tzom is supposed to be meaningful, not "Kal". Ideally
we are supposed to be so consumed by checking our deeds, both private and
national, that we won't even notice we went hungry for an entire day.
I'm sure everyone here read by now about Syrian mobilization (if not, head over
to the Save Israel forum and read jeffguy's post). Let us pray that this Yom
Kippur will be peaceful, and that if Syria starts a war, unlike 1973 it will be a
glorious victory and great Kiddush HaShem.
