Philoktetes:
I recently saw an old Nightline broadcast on Youtube wherein Ted Koppel was interviewing Rabbi Kahane as well as Ehud Smolmert regarding the Arab population explosion and its threat to Israel. Koppel was exceedingly arrogant and viciously critical of Rabbi Kahane. Is this the way you remember Ted Koppel? What is your feeling of Ted Koppel understanding that his family were Holocaust escapees?
Jorje15:
Dear Chaim.
What do you think of the protest in Iran from the election? What will happen to the Middle East for years to come? What is your African story for this week?
chicagojew:
Shalom Chaim, what is your opinion on Ellie Weisel? I have enjoyed his work, but lost my respect for him when I saw him touring the former concentration camps with the world's biggest anti-semitic, Bsarack Hussien Obama.
Global Warming is a Hoax:
Shalom Chaim, would you agree that North Korea is the worlds greatest danger even more so then the Muslims. Everytime I hear the name North Korea the two words yimach shimo comes afterwards. I have nothing but disdain for that Gehinnom like country. I think the U.S. should immediately invade that country and hang all of its leaders by the testicles. I never thought I would say this but I have an ounce more respect for the Muslims then these savages because at least the Muslims aren't atheists. If you disagree with me, then it is a respectful disagreement.

Shalom Chaim
I recently saw a talk show about the death penalty in America. During the show there was an opponent of the Capital punishment. He said the death penalty should be completely replaced with life sentences without parole. He gave then the following explanations:
1. A death penalty system is more expensive than a system with just lifelong sentences. Apparently the greatest costs associated with the death penalty occur prior to and during trial.
Amnesty International has even a link on this:
http://www.amnestyusa.org/death-penalty/death-penalty-facts/death-penalty-cost/page.do?id=1101084
2. The death penalty has the potential to kill an innocent person. In contrast with life imprisonment you still have the possibility to correct a wrong sentence, in case you have enough evidence about the innocence of the convicted person.
3. According to this person in the talkshow, Capital punishment has the effect of brutalizing a society because you kill a person which is not necessary being able to put him in prison until the end of his life.
Do you agree with this argumentation?
Kind regards
davinci
