Who's your favorite TV or radio host
« on: June 18, 2009, 02:11:06 AM »
I think Glenn Beck is the best. He often discusses the founding fathers and America's founding principles. He cries too much though. Sean Hannity is the most anti-Obama host and he should be commended.

G. Gordon Liddy.

Both in terms of being the only talk show host to give Chaim air time last year and that Liddy has the courage to go beyond where even good hosts such as Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck are willing to go.    G. Gordon Liddy has courage.    G-d Bless this true patriot!

I don't really like most of them anymore. One thing that really bothers me about Beck is that he talks like William Shatner with lots of pauses when he's trying to be emotional or inspiring.

Nothing. He is a good actor but can be a bit strange at times. He has played some weird parts over the years and made a few sound recordings that would make him a candidate for the nut house.  I can't really watch him anymore since they found his wife drowned in their swimming pool. When I see him now on the travel commercial all I picture is him holding her under the water until she was dead. His daughter was on a talk show a while back and she said he is quite exotic in his life style. She said he thinks he is still 30 years old and accomplishes anything he sets out to do.

Liddy had a very good show a few years back here in New York its to bad it did not last longer. He was quite interesting to listen to. He is very much for gun ownership and makes no bones about it. Glen Beck is very good but he can get a bit nutty at times. Its basically sarcasm I think he has a hard time accepting that the American people can't see the evil that's taking hold around them. He also has a radio show here in New York on week days 9am to 11 on 77am. Liddy has a website that allows people to listen to his shows

There's a lot to like about Liddy and Beck, especially in terms of offering some humor beyond politics.  However, Liddy was (and I presume remains) a big McCain cheerleader, and that's a big black mark in my book.

I enjoy hearing Doctor Laura Schlesinger for a few minutes now & then.  When I listen to her show, I always wonder what some of those callers are thinking.  "I'm living with my baby's father ....."  Hells-bells, they should know that she's just gonna rip 'em a new arse, so why bother?

We don't get Liddy here. Love to listen to Laura Ingraham........then Hannity.........then Beck. Especially when any of them have Ann Coulter on their show.

Ingraham is very good however I think the station I use to listen to her on has her on at a different time or no longer has her in the lineup. I have listened to Hannity  right from his very first show here in New York. Now days however with so many different stations doing talk I switch around to different hosts each day.

I remember hearing Glenn Beck on the radio before his TV show existed. On his radio show, he often talked about sex, drugs, and other inappropriate topics. I was surprised when I saw his TV show for the first time because he talks about serious topics on his TV show.

Lou Dobbs as far as TV goes.  I no longer care for talk radio like I used to, but I do enjoy Neal Boortz now and then.

Actually Lou Dobbs has a radio show that airs in New York.  I switch between Hannity and Dobbs on my drive home.
