Can someone explain to me the different forms of numbers.

It appears that there are both male and female forms of numbers. I haven't been able to figure out the pattern that distinguishes them yet. Are there also singular and plurar forms of them? What other grammatical variations exist? If someone could help, it would be great.
Does it bother you that you have to face the dome and the rock to say the sh'ma?
