That's a good documentary. One can see that Croatian politicians overflow with hatred during their speeches, and Croatian military looks like SS stormtroopers. The crimes against Serbian population were planned and committed with ustasha ardor.
But I didn't see in the documentary any military resistance from the Serbian side. Did it have an army to defend the towns and villages from Croatian attacks, and perhaps attack and destroy the bases of the Croatian army?

To be honest the Serbs within Yugoslavia remained loyal to the Yugoslavian federation.
In 1991 when Croatians, Slovenians and others started to desert from the YU army, the Serbs remained in the regular army. From a logic point of view the Serbs controlled the most powerful army in 1991? But was it like that?
For example you have two men. You give to the first man a computer and to the other just a pencil and a paper. From whom do you expect good results? From the one who possess the right necessaries!! The Serbs did not took advantage of the situation. How com the Serbs who controlled the most powerful army of the Balkans – JNA – allowed others to screw them? How come? If the ally of your enemies (Croatians and others) is your so called president than the army does not matter anymore. High ranking members of the Yugoslav army were not all Serbs! Even many representatives of the federation were not Serbs. In 1991 Slobodan Milosevic was 100% supported by the Americans, because he was way to passive. He did not solve the problems with separatists on time.
Normal people like Jews, Americans and other western nations who use their brains are organized. Even Croatians and Bosnians are well organized. Serbs are not.
If you put two Serbs in one room, you will have at the end of the week 5 parties or movements who are extremely opposite to each other. Normal people like you guys [and other Western people] have diverse organizations, but all the organization share one common policy. That are national interests. In Serbia you have Serbian organization who are anti-Serb just like Croatians and EU organizations. The problem is that Serbs have economical problems and that’s why you can easily buy them off!

Unfortunately, the regular Serbian army really did too little to just help those Serbs.
