Manch:
Shalom Chaim,
rabbi Kahane position was that arabs should make a pledge to Israel or get out. I think it would be only fair to demand allegiance to the state from Jews and non-Jews alike.   What is the position towards anti-Zionist weirdos in the haredi community? Will the Satmars and similar ardent anti-Zionist ilk be forced to leave Israel? Will they be required to serve in IDF? I am not concerned with NK - we all know what should happen to them.

Dan Ben Noah:
Shalom Chaim,

There is a vicious commentator on MSNBC named Rachel Maddow, who I couldn't stomach more than a few minutes of.  I'm not very familiar with her.  If you are familiar with her, I would be interested to hear your commentary on her.  Thank you in advance.

Respectfully,

Dan ben Noah

Rubystars:
Greetings Chaim. Do you think that when someone dies, that G-d will answer all their questions and resolve arguments about which doctrines/rabbinic opinions were right, and will people be punished if they were on the wrong side of a particular issue?

davinci:
Shalom Chaim

Thank you very much for your enlightening answer last week about evilness and genius.

Referring to this subject I would like to mention German physicist Wernher von Braun.
I think he was a brillant scientist but a complete monster. Apparently he even asked for forced labour in 1943 but later on he referred about this period of knowing nothing about people who were suffering.

Personally I can't understand why this man wasn't executed at the Nuremberg trials.

So I have 2 questions this week:

1. Do you agree that Wernher von Braun was the ultimate example of evilness and brilliance?
2. Why in the world did America pick this man for their NASA program?

Kind regards

davinci

PS: May Wernher von Braun burn in hell forever!

Dear Chaim:

I appreciate you answering my question two weeks ago. I’ll do my best to inform my sister about Jew-Gentile relationships, but she is very materialistic and self-absorbed and spends most of her time focusing on the unimportant aspects of life.

I was wondering, why again don’t you like Mike Savage? I remember you answering questions saying you don’t like him and that you believe he copies your material. That would be flattering if such a famous person was tuning into JTF. Anyway, I see what you mean about similar material; his views seem pretty right on. He is for the ending of MLK day and criticizes MLK. He thinks we should round up all illegal’s and deport them and cap legal immigrant unless they are sophisticated “producers.” He is also very anti-Muslim, even going so far as to say we should ban Islam (which I agree). However, although he may be very pro-Jew and pro-Israel, I don’t think he is a very observant Jew, therefore allowing me to see why that would greatly bother you.

I really feel the passion is what he is saying and have not heard one thing I don’t agree with. The only thing is when it comes down to actually observing Judaism; he is no Chaim Ben Pesach. He says America is a Judeo-Christian nation and actually knows the history of Christianity as an extension of Judaism (from a Christian perspective) and thus is why America is generally considered a “Judeo-Christian” nation. Hannity and Limbaugh are all about the “Benjaman$” while Savage is more honest and not as preoccupied with advertisers etc. Hannity and Limbaugh actually ask for money if you want to listen to them through their web site while Savage posts his sows at the end of everyday on youtube.

I am editing this post to include that on Savage's Aug. 14th show he criticized Bill Clinton for bombing as he worded it "the innocent Serbian people." This is an example of another honorable message Savage is able to publicize to his average of 10 million listeners.

I don’t know if you know much about Hebrew / Yiddish etymology but do you know the origin, meaning, and history surrounding the words “schmuck” and “schvartza?” I remember a famous Jew calling Obama a schvartza to a reporter and the media going wild. Though some did say it is just a term for black and is not in any way derogatory. Is that true?

All the best to you Chaim and thanks for what you do.

Paul
