Ive heard this melody at my Rabbis Shabbat table before.
Kahane-Was-Right BT:
"Dror Yikra" is the deal when it comes to Shabbat songs. Sefardi pronunciation and tune. Incomparable.
Even the lyrics are great. It's kind of nationalistic.

Yes it's one of those songs that starts out slowly but gets better as it goes along.

Yes, it's a great song. Another one of this kind is "Nagila Haleluya". I would say it is even more nationalistic :)

I wouldn't translate this song I'm not a native English speaker. In short, it asks the Almighty G-d to banish the enemies, to bring the Jews back and to send them Mashiach.
