eb22:
Shalom Chaim,
In a story that CNN, the Communist News Network, titled " Jewish settlers blamed over mosque attack", there was one specific quote that was attention getting:
http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/meast/12/11/mosque.west.bank/
Settler leader Dany Dayan -- chairman of the Yesha Council, a group of Jewish municipal councils from the West Bank -- told CNN, "I hope that Israeli police will uncover the perpetrators whoever they are and will bring them to trial. This act is wrong and foolish. If this act was carried out by a Jew it fills me with great shame."
Clearly, this seems to be yet another illustration of what you have mentioned many times before in that the Yesha Council " leadership " is representing the Israeli government, not the heroic Jews in Judea and Samaria. Exhibit A was their recommendations were a substantial reason why the resistance in Gaza in 2005 was minimal at best and as a result, the Israeli Government was able to expel the Jews from Gaza.
My question is as follows. Being that Dany Dayan and the Yesha Council " leadership " aren't representing the best interests of the Jews in Judea and Samaria and have a horrible track record in general, is it feasible / realistic for the Jews of Judea and Samaria to elect leadership that would replace the Yesha Council? Leadership that would truly do what it takes to make sure that the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria increases?
Thanks as always, eb22.

Hello Chaim I hope you are feeling better. To my question Have you ever seen Meir Kahane lose a debate? Thanks and GD bless
christians4jews:
hey chaim 3 questions for you.
1) do you have to revize your 5 percent rightous blacks percentage to soething even less.??As tigers woods, whos had money thrown at him on the basis that hes a great "black role model" is nothing less than sexually perverse pimp.Heres a casual suggestion, perhaps 1 percent of blacks are rightous??
2) i do lower back exercises, do you have any mid/upper back exercises for good posture etc?
3) I try and emualte your diet and have pleanty of fish, fruit and vegatables. But sometimes you cannot always have a healthy diet in the day, especially when your on holiday. So i have 1 omega 3 pill, and one multi-vitimin pill a day. Am i wasting my time with these,or do you think they can help my omega 3 and nutrition count up even on a bad diet day??
Aces High:
Shalom Chaim,
There was an article that came out a few years ago, that explained, if Israel is reduced below her minimum size- defensible threshold, she will not be able to adequately maneuver troops, tanks, and protect her airfields, and population centers. She will become indefensible. That article emphasized that no matter how advanced the military technology is in Israel , technology can never compensate militarily for the loss of large swaths of territory.
What is your opinion on this?
Thanks
Aces High
Secularbeliever:
Dear Chaim,
Recently on the forums some of our good members have posted two interesting videos. One is of the wonderful Nadia Matar discussing several matters including the struggle for Shdema. The other was of the late Ayn Rand explaining why Israel should be supported. Nadia is an Orthodox Jew (as far as I know) and Ayn Rand was an ardent atheist. Oddly enough these two individuals coming from entirely different mindsets and philosophies came to the same conclusion.
They defined the struggle (my words not theirs) as a clash between civilization and savagery. I think that is the best way to define the conflict. Jews are people who want to live, to prosper, to build a decent society and to a large degree have succeeded. Israel produces medical advances, computer technology and many other things that benefit mankind. In fact I read recently that Israel has the highest rate per capita of start up technology companies. Not bad for a nation that began as a dream of socialists.
The Arabs on the other hand are bringing innovations such as suicide bombers and honor killings. Girls who are raped by family members are put to death to restore the family's honor. If one side or the other is going to expand which side would you prefer.
While the Biblical argument is fine, I think it is important to add in the practical tangible argument. I think we should rub this argument into the faces (in a nice way) of some groups we might find distasteful. Homosexuals should be the strongest supporters of Israel on the planet. How do they think they would be treated in a Palestinian State? Even if many Jews do not approve of their lifestyle we are not murdering them. Same with feminists. They should be praying ten times per day that Islamists never get near them and should be more pro Jewish than we are. More improtantly I think this argument will resonate with the average American and hopefully with Jewish Israelis.
