What a great post Philipino Jew. I have had many Philipino friends over the years and the one thing they never seemed to be able to integrate into their idea of me was that I was Jewish. No matter how many times I would tell them, they would inevitably wish me happy Easter and Merry Christmas. Yet I knew they really cared for me. was this just the depth of the culture's antisemitism?

many pilipino is catholic so can always hear that jews are bad jews killed jesus and jews has been forsaken but god... sometimes they called me im the pagan how come..i never bow to any idol like they do in there cathedral diff types of maria and sto nino.. thats why im not questioning myself how my country is poor bcoz of the idolism and paganism across the country there wer so many superstitious belief ..wer u from ?
