Not in the name of Islam: Dearborn group expects large turnout for silent protest outside Friday's hearing for Flight 253 suspect

Organizers expect hundreds of local Muslims to join a silent protest Friday in Detroit outside the hearing for Flight 253 terror suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

"This is people from all over Southeast Michigan coming together and saying we're against terrorism. Our message is going to be louder than the message the terrorists have sent. The masses will be speaking," Majed Moughni told Fox 2.

Moughni helps run the Dearborn Area Community Members group on Facebook, where he's been organizing the protest, scheduled for 1-3 p.m. tomorrow.

Abdulmutallab, who reportedly dreamed of an Islamic holy war, is scheduled to appear at the U.S. District Court in Detroit around 2 p.m. for arraignment. 

He was indicted yesterday on charges including attempted murder and trying to use a weapon of mass destruction, the latter offense punishable by up to life in prison.

Moughni told the television station he hopes the group's message will reach terrorists around the world who claim to act on behalf of Islam.

"We're telling the terrorists we're Americans. If you want to kill Americans come kill us," he said.

"We're going to send you back to the caves of Afghanistan because you don't belong in a civilized society. Islam is a religion of peace, and you don't represent Islam. Stay away from us."

If you go to the article link on the MLive site,   it will take you to a video that is connected to the article.    It's ironic that this " protest "  will be coming a day after a  Fakestinian Muslim beast threatened to kill "  All Jews"  on a Delta Flight going from Miami to Detroit.   In many ways,   these protests that attempt to paint a picture of a " Peaceful Islam"  are much more dangerous than the overt threats by those called "  Radical"  Muslims.

arksis and Debbie,   in reading what you both mentioned   (  which I agree with  ),    what comes to mind immediately was the comments by Barack Hussein Obama this afternoon.     BHO went OUT OF HIS WAY to separate Al Qaeda from the " vast majority"  of Muslims.       BHO said,   "  "We know that the vast majority of Muslims reject Al-Qaeda".      And  "We must communicate clearly to Muslims around the world that Al-Qaeda offers nothing except a bankrupt vision of misery and death - including the murder of fellow Muslims - while the United States stands with those who seek justice and progress."

The protests prove he is al qaeda.   
They also protested when scum El sayyid nosair yemach shemo vezichro was on trial for murdering Rabbi Kahane ZT"L.   The members of the al qaeda cell who later put a bomb in the world trade center are on video tape participating in those rallies.

Of course nosair himself was part of that cell and participated in the bombing too.
