In recent times Israeli intelligence and military decision making hasn't been so great. I am thinking specifically of the 2006 Lebanon war we're they were caught off guard. I am also thinking of the withdrawal from South Lebanon and Gaza in the first place. We all knew what the end result would be in advance. I'm also talking about the recent assasination in Dubai.
Unless I'm going to find out it was really the Emirati authorities that did the assasination then it looks pretty much like a Mossad botch up. That's as far as I would go though.
These type of operations the ideal situation is that the bad guy is taken out and nobody knows who did it. Even though I may disagree with the means and the endangering of fellow countrymen from Britain through use of our passports, I think the ends were totally justified.
The european media especially in France and from the EU is hyper hysterical and pro-islamofascist.
The end result is a dead terrorist which in my book is a good result.
Israeli intelligence and military does need to get its act together and be more covert with this type of stuff as they get enough bad press as it is.
It is a complete joke though the way the French and EU leaders carry on in their defence of vile terrorists. I wonder what would happen if there was an islamic terror attack on the Paris underground system?
I seem to remember Arabs floating down the Seine at one point in not too distance past and they weren't even terrorists.
Maybe the French now have become so liberal, socialistic and politically correct that their brains have fallen from their derriers.
If this was Israel acting and not the Emiratis taking out a terrorist on their own soil then it has to be the Emiratis supporting and harbouring terrorists that is the only conclusion.
The means could have been better to say the least, but as a Brit I fully support any Israeli action to smoke out vile wicked terrorists. Actually, I wouldn't have been too concerned if it were my passport that was photocopied.
