I generally have not been a fan of Ex-NYC mayor Ed Koch. Everyone has always known he was a Jew but until recently I didn't realize that his being a Jew was important to him. Finally he wrote an opinion piece which stands up strongly for the Jewish state and veritably calls Obama misguided for his Israel foreign relations policy...

Now the dirty arab muslims are calling him a Zio-Nazi and other delightful antisemtic things...

I would stand up against these vermin in an instant if they threated ex-mayor Koch... Jews must stand together against rabid antisemites like Khalid Amayreh {Yemach Shemo}.

(Israelnationalnews.com) A Palestinian Authority activist has labeled former New York City Mayor Ed Koch a "Zionist racist," "Zionist thug” and “depraved liar” who is an "old man with one foot in the grave." He also wrote on an English-language PA opinion web site, that Koch tries to “brainwash people’s minds about the reality of Zio-Nazim [sic] as embodied by the Satanic creature known as Israel.”

The writer, Khalid Amayreh, also has written for the pro-Hamas Al Jazeera satellite network and for the Iranian News Agency.

Koch, a Jew, recently admitted that he is disappointed with U.S. President Barack Obama, whom he backed for presidency, and that the American government has been too heavy handed against Israel.

Amaryeh, who previously has accused the United States of being in cohorts with the Palestinian Authority, also says it and Israel are in an unholy alliance.

Attacking Koch for criticizing President Obama’s demands that Israel stop building for Jews in united Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, Amaryeh wrote, “For Koch and like-minded Zionists, asking Israel to rein in Nazi-minded Jewish settlers, stop stealing occupied Arab land and freeze the expansion of Jewish-only colonies on land belonging to another people is tantamount to throwing Israel under the bus, according to these arrogant dogs and sick thugs.”

Besides calling Koch “an aggregate Zionist racist and liar," he termed former U.S. President George W. Bush “another pathological liar, former President Bush who claimed that Muslims and Arabs hated the U.S. because of our freedoms and liberties’ not because of America’s dark embrace of Israeli Nazism….

“One can argue rather candidly that Koch is either an irredeemable, willful ignoramus…or a pornographically odious liar that lies as often as he breathes oxygen, which is the more likely probability.”

The article was disseminated on the "Palestine Free Voice" website despite the PA commitment to cease incitement against Israel.

I understand what you are saying but I have firsthand experience and it gives me hope...


My very mother was one of those 'liberal jews' for most of my life.... But after 9/11 where my brother, my mothers youngest son, was killed her politics took a rightward shift, along with mine. She used to have many of these liberal jewish friends but has cut off those associations because she knows that they are wrong. She took a lot of flack over the last couple of years from her social group but slowly but surely even that liberal social group is throwing obama under the bus... I do have hope for some of these liberal jewish lost souls.

PMW: Jordanian Media Report 'Jews Descend from Pigs'

Jordanian media last week quoted Egyptian clerics who declared that Jews are the descendants of pigs -- the only point of debate was whether they are direct descendants or not.

According to a report broadcast May 10 on the Al-Moheed Arab News Network and translated by the media watchdog group, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), "pigs in our time have their origins in Jews who angered Allah... and it is obligatory to kill and slaughter them."

The report quoted Sheikh Ahmed Ali Othman, supervisor of the Da'awa (Islamic Indoctrination) of the Egyptian Waqf (Authority of Islamic Holy Places), and head of its slaughtering division.

Othman based his ruling on a Koranic verse (Koran sura 5, verse 60) that refers to those that Allah (G-d) has cursed and "made into monkeys and pigs, and who have served abominations. Their place is worst of all, and their deviation is the greatest of all..." He added that this verse referred to the nation of the descendants of the prohet Moses.

An article published May 9 in the Jordanian newspaper Al-Hakika al-Dawliya also quoted the Egyptian cleric: "I personally tend towards the view that the pigs that exist now have their origins with the Jews, and therefore their consumption is forbidden..."

A second view, expressed by sheikh Ali Abu Al-Hassan, head of the Fatwa Committee (which issues rulings) at Al-Azhar [Sunni Islamic] University, does not draw a relationship between today's pigs and Jews.

Al-Hassan explained "when Allah punishes a group of people, He punishes only them. When Allah grew angry with the nation of Moses, He turned them into pigs and monkeys as an extraordinary punishment... but they died without leaving descendants."

Yes, I also posted about Koch and Myerson the other day however I attributed the the breakup to the fact that Myerson was caught shoplifting on a few occasions and her political scandal called the Bess Mess. I guess she was more problems then she was worth for Koch who was looking for a little window dressing and was getting more then he needed of the wrong kind. I have to honestly say I can't figure Koch out. If he is a little funny he has done quite a good job over the years of keeping the issue in the closet.
